Description
This study targeted thirteen third-countries that have active bilateral agreements with the European Union (EU) through Sustainable Fisheries Partnership Agreements (SFPAs). This provides a potential mechanism to contribute to improving ocean governance and a means for supporting the implementation of the SDGs and their targets, particularly SDG 14. The objective of this study was designed to assist the European Commission identify areas for capacity building projects related to scientific support for delivery of SDG 14 in each country and on a regional scale within both the Central East Atlantic and the Indian Ocean.
